In June 2012 Keith, Matt & Dave will be climbing the three highest mountains in Wales (Snowdon), England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and cycling between each mountain (carrying all our equipment) a total of approximately 500 miles in 10 days and also raising funds for Galloways Society for the Blind, a Charity based in Preston, who support more than 6,500 blind and visually impaired people across Lancashire and beyond.

When the snow came

A 9 mile walk sees some great views and plenty of snow! Great day out had by all. Except from me falling in a peat bog!

9 Mile circular walk over "Great Hill"

Had a great day yesterday walking over Great Hill, very cold and windy but it was another 9 miles under the belt. The next scheduled walk will be in 4 weeks time and much tougher and longer (in the Lake District)

Looks like a cold one!

Tomorrow sees the team meet up again for a longish walk. Something tells me i best get wrapped up as the frost on the car is not a good sign!

Torture Chamber

Just had 45 mins on the Turbo, I thought that it would get easier as I got fitter. But that theory isn't working.

DIY at the Gym

Dave & I went to the gym for an hour "Spinning", but unfortunately the instructor was held up in traffic. So it was a case of "do it yourself", but we still had a good workout.
We are all now looking forward to Sunday when we will be walking in the Rivington area.

Team training (Walking)

Friday 30th was the first chance to test our kit in the rain. We had a very pleasant 8 mile walk around Grizedale and Scorton. Everything performed okay.
